Overview

A full client engagement — from design brief through delivery — for Amantranaa Caterers. The site presents the catering brand with a clear visual identity, a structured menu, an events gallery, and clear conversion paths for enquiries. It is responsive across devices, loads quickly on mobile networks, and is maintainable by the client without me in the loop for content updates.

The Problem

The client needed an online presence that reflected the quality of their catering — not a generic template. Prospective customers research online before enquiring, and the previous presence (social-only) lost leads at that step. The new site had to look professional, load fast on a phone during a commute, and make contact effortless.

My Role & Contribution

• Gathered requirements directly with the client and iterated on design mocks
• Built the full site — HTML, CSS, JavaScript — hand-crafted rather than templated
• Handled deployment, domain, and handover including content-update instructions

Approach

• Brand-first design — typography, color palette, and imagery chosen to reflect the catering identity
• Hand-written HTML/CSS/JS — no heavy framework, so the site stays fast and simple to maintain
• Responsive layout tested on mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints
• Performance attention — image optimization, lazy loading, and minimal JavaScript
• Clear enquiry/contact paths on every page to turn visitors into leads
